Safety and security are important in all the lives of people with memory loss. All doors at Cedar Cottage are equipped with alarms to protect residents who are at risk of wandering. Safety and security is of utmost importance here at Cedar Cottage. At Cedar Cottage, our Mission Statement is: We believe that individuals must be allowed to participate in planning for their healthcare and other basic needs and can remain in the home environment with assisted living services as long as they are able. Services must be: available, coordinated, provided in a comprehensive way, and combined with other human services when appropriate.
